New: Invigorate Your Practice
Healthy discontent is the prelude to progress. – Mahatma Gandhi
Do you desire a catalyst for change? This group is for therapists who want to develop a vigorous practice and earn more money. It is about exploring barriers to success and cultivating a new relationship to money, clients and life.
The group will be a place to explore the knots that hold us back. Questions such as: “What gets in the way of me holding to my fee? Can I stop bending so much towards others’ needs? What do I feel I deserve and why? How can I earn more? Why don’t I have the kind of relationships I want?” form the basis of this group.
As we therapists know, talking is the way to transformation. By joining this group, your practice will change.
Starts: Wed., September 13th – 1-2 pm by phone. Weekly. Cost: $60.00 per session.
New: Parenting is a Lifelong Project
Parenting is lifelong. It requires different things from us at different stages of our children’s lives, but there are some underlying approaches which are good for all ages. These are: -Love, -Active Listening and -Boundaries
Most of us deeply love our children and want to parent them the best way possible. The best way possible is sometimes elusive.
Coming to this group will give you:
- a range of strategies for handling complicated situations
- more knowledge about trigger points for you
- a way to listen and respond, so your children feel heard and understood
The challenges of parenting make many of us to feel frustrated and annoyed when that isn’t what we want to feel. This group will enable you to learn:
- What are our children actually saying?
- How can we hear them?
- What leads to feelings of annoyance and frustration?
- How do we stand up to our children when needed?
- How can we acknowledge our children’s wishes and not kowtow to their demands?
- How can we handle our feelings of frustration and not turn them into antagonistic interactions?
Starts: March 21, 2017, 7:30-9pm Where: NW Philadelphia Cost: $70.00

This group will meet once a month, on the second Tuesday of each month, starting September 13th, 2016 at 7-8:30 pm. It will meet at my home office in Germantown and will cost $50 per session.
